The MES cold digester is a high-speed blender that is used to homogenise a sample of cane or bagasse and water into a mixture comprising of a liquid and an insoluble fibre portion An electric motor drives a stainless steel shaft, having 3 spring steel blades, mounted at its lower end, via a poly-V belt. It is commonly used in the analysis procedures for direct cane testing and payment system within the Southern African Sugar Industry. Supplied complete with 380v motor, electronic control panel and bowl. |
