Maintenance Engineering Services CC has extensive experience in the supply and maintenance of the DAC laboratory equipment within the sugar industry in southern Africa.
The correct servicing of this lab and sampling equipment, by our staff, is essential to their correct operation and longevity.
Please can you indicate by return email whether you would like us to service your lab (or those that you manage) and /or sampling equipment this coming off-crop season or not, so that we may quote you as well as schedule your needs into our calendar and better plan this busy period.

For those of you in neighbouring countries and within Africa, please remember that spare parts need to be ordered & shipped in advance as well as invitation letters sent to us in order to obtain visa’s, flights and insurance. Accommodation also needs to be booked as soon as possible as this is usually very limited during the off-crop.
If you have any special requirements or projects that needs attention during off-crop, please discuss with us as soon as possible as these generally require planning, drawings, approval and manufacture time before installation or implementation.
Please also note, we are now closed for the festive season and re-open in the new year on 9th January 2017.
The typical laboratory service includes the following equipment:
- Cold digesters.
- Single compartment ovens.
- 8 compartment ovens (excludes timer units and elements).
- Water dispenser.
- DAC chiller unit.
- Solids oven.
